Kris comes to La Europa from the public health arena where she has worked for the last decade designing, implementing and managing the youth gang prevention program in Salt Lake City. Kris brings to La Europa a passion for working with adolescents and a proven track record of stellar team management. Since becoming the Residential Director, Kris has demonstrated a clear vision for how the residential team at La Europa can most effectively meet the needs of our students. Kris has an innate understanding of the importance of clarifying the roles of each person on the team so that the team is functioning efficiently. She has already added a wealth of information to current staff trainings, and added new trainings to ensure that all staff are up-to-speed on the issues currently facing at-risk teens.
