Katelyn Steed

Katelyn joined La Europa Academy in 2018 as a Youth Mentor. Over the years, she has taken on a variety of roles within the residential and human services teams, gaining a deep understanding of the students, staff, and daily rhythms of the campus. In 2022, she joined the Human Resources team, where she worked closely with employees and supported key operational functions —experience that ultimately led to her current position as Operations Director.

In her role as Operations Director, Katelyn oversees many aspects of employee support and day‑to‑day operations. She leads the onboarding and offboarding process, helps employees navigate benefits and state‑required trainings, and ensures every new team member feels welcomed and set up for success. Katelyn plays a key role in daily functions and logistics around campus.

Outside of work, Katelyn loves playing beach volleyball, hiking, and traveling with friends.
