Linda Davis became our official on-campus Special Education Consultant after being a liaison for La Europa Academy between 2012 and 2015. She has more than 35 years experience working with mild/moderate special education students in public secondary schools in Utah. Linda has a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Special Education and Masters of Science in Special Education from the University of Utah, with a “Comprehensive Behavior Specialist'' certification as well. 

Writing IEPs and developing long range and short range goals with students is one area Linda is proficient in. Linda specializes in working with all types of students with disabilities, as well as those with 504 accommodation plans. She is endorsed in Reading and Writing and able to support most other academic subjects students may be struggling with while at LEA. Linda is certified as a trainer of trainers in a wide range of learning techniques from Quantum Learning in Oceanside, CA. She has done extensive research in the area of executive functioning and has helped a number of students over the years who struggle in this area. Linda was selected by PBS as the lead Digital Innovator for Utah in 2016-17 and continues to incorporate technology into her teaching practice where she can.

In her free time, Linda enjoys attending dance and musical performances (her daughter works for a professional dance company) and LInda loves to sew, especially quilts! She has 4 grandchildren ranging in age from 11 years old down to one year old twins and she loves spoiling them with snuggles!
