Get to know Leslie by watching this webinar she hosted on Building Trust One Marble At A Time

Leslie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Health Science. In 2002, she received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Throughout Leslie’s professional career, she has worked in a variety of settings including residential (with adolescent girls), in home family preservation (which included providing therapy and skills development), private practice and outpatient therapy.

Leslie has extensive experience working with depression and self-harming behaviors, anxiety, OCD, PTSD/Trauma (particularly surrounding sexual abuse and reactivity), bipolar disorder, eating disorders and borderline personality disorder. In addition, Leslie has strengths working with identity disorders and those involved with domestic violence and attachment issues. Leslie has also provided Equine Assisted Psychotherapy while working in residential, outpatient and private practice settings.

Leslie feels joy working and associating with adolescents. She is able to connect with them effortlessly due to her relatability and sense of humor. She believes in the inherent worth of every person and that there is good to be found in every life experience. She believes that all individuals have purpose and strives to assist others in finding that purpose. She uses her ability to empathize and connect with others to assist them in the process of owning their own stories, embracing their vulnerabilities, healing, and in finding purpose and true joy.
