Ashley began working for La Europa Academy in 2016 and has truly enjoyed working with the students over the years in different positions. She has been a Youth Mentor, Assistant Team Leader, Team Leader, Shift Supervisor, and most recently was promoted to Community Leader. Her experience in these positions makes her naturally qualified to relate to students and tend to their emotional and physical needs. She is involved in communicating with parents and keeping them updated throughout their student’s process here.

Ashley’s life experiences led her to a career in the mental health field and she believes that she has found her passion working alongside teenagers and their families. It is important to her that she be a part of helping others to find lifelong peace and stability. She loves watching La Europa students heal and learn life skills so they can be successful when they go home. Ashley enjoys connecting with others through humor, and is often described as warm and welcoming. She is also known for being able to hold firm and realistic boundaries with the students she works with.

Ashley was born and raised in Tennessee, where she found joy and inspiration in it’s Southern hospitality. During her college education, though, Ashley moved to Utah in pursuit of educational and career opportunities. In her free time, Ashley can often be found enjoying the company of friends and family, playing games, attending local events, and spending time with foster animals.
