Residential Assistant
Responsibilities include building relationships with and providing safety for at risk youth at La Europa Academy. Also help execute different interventions on an individual and group basis. Good communication skills, team building and unity are essential aspects of the job. Provide the students with therapeutically based consequences, both positive and negative. Supervise students throughout scheduled activities; school, activities, chores, and meals. Accompany students to group and rec. therapy.
Possible shifts available:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday morning (7am-3pm).
- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday morning (7am-3pm).
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday evening (3-11pm).
- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday evening (3-11pm).
There is also PRN (as needed), being on an on call sheet and signing up for shifts for other employees.
Requirements include being 21 or older with experience working with adolescents and a valid drivers license. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

Night Watch
Responsibilities include doing 10-15 minute checks on sleeping students at La Europa Academy. Doing some light chores is required. You must be able to stay awake throughout the entire shift (11p.m. to 7 a.m.).
Requires a valid driver's license, 21 or older. Night watch experience not required but preferred.
Shifts start at 11 p.m. and go until 7 a.m. seven days a week, half shifts are available. Most people work two to three shifts a week.

Therapist
Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, therapy, and transition planning for assigned student and their families. Attend meetings and make decisions regarding the treatment of his or her students. Have weekly individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
Typically a full time salaried position. Average case load is six students and two group therapy sessions.
The position requires state licensure that authorizes the practice of psychotherapy. The position requires a Masters Degree in a qualifying area of study. Clinical experience beyond an internship is preferred but not required.
Teacher
Requirements: provide subject area classroom instruction for grades 7-12. Assign students grades for course work and assign a final grade for the class. Plan curriculum based on the Utah State Core Curriculum. Class sizes are smaller with 7-12 students in each class.
Requires a current Utah teaching license. Teaching experience in addition to student teaching is preferred but not required.
Full and Part time teaching positions for various subjects with multiple schedules.
Nursing
Responsible to care for medical emergencies and for the general medical needs of the students. Responsible for sorting and passing medications accurately. Will be involved in student assessment and parent communication.
