In the past, troubled adolescents have generally
been treated through (1) hospital stays (when
stabilization was required) and/or (2) traditional
residential treatment programs. When a youth has been
hospitalized, such treatment stays have typically been
short (generally 3-7 days), very costly to both the
insurance company and/or the adolescents parents, and
questionable in terms of providing long-term success.
With respect to traditional approaches to residential
treatment, students typically have been in much larger,
often coed, facilities with minimal clinical
specialization, for extended periods of time (often 12
months or more). The result has predictably been
hit-and-misswith many success stories but in some cases
an equal number of failures. Through either approach,
enormous amounts of money have been expended, and
adolescents often return for additional treatment.

La Europa Academy is an alternative, highly specialized
solution that identifies one general profile of girl and
then builds a program specifically designed for her.
Statistically, this results in superior outcomes, in a
shorter period of time, and often for less money.
La Europa Academy accepts payment in a variety of ways.
Parents and referral sources are welcome to counsel with
a representative from La Europa about private pay and
insurance reimbursement. Please call us at
801-916-5696 and an intake officer will help you
decide how your daughter will best benefit from her
experience at La Europa Academy.
