What happens when a student finishes residential treatment?  Does she automatically go home?  These are important questions that are often in the back of parents’ minds as they explore the option of residential care for their daughter.   Ideally, parents want their daughter to come home and, in many cases, that is exactly what happens.  But what if she is not ready?

There are post-treatment options that can provide the student and parents with a more gradual transition home then stepping straight out of the tightly structured residential setting into the relatively less-structured home environment.  The treatment team at La Europa Academy works closely with parents and educational consultants (if applicable) to provide recommendations on what the student and parents may need to be successful after residential treatment.  We have a structured transition program called Mosaic House that is appropriate as a next step for some La Europa students.
